Responsibilities
  • Lead the Bombardier Experimental organization with full accountability for performance and results, ensuring teams are engaged, enabled, and delivering on all mandates in support of program objectives and corporate strategy
  • Lead a best‑in‑class health & safety culture across the Experimental organization, ensuring safety is the top priority in all ground testing and flight test outfitting activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement and uphold the highest standards of quality by optimizing processes, strengthening execution discipline, and ensuring operational excellence across all Experimental function deliverables.
  • Provide strategic leadership in advancing experimental test technologies, enabling accelerated product development and enhancing testing capability, efficiency, and overall performance.
  • Establish, monitor, and drive performance metrics across the Experimental organization to ensure all deliverables and experimental mandates are achieved with quality, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Grow, develop, and sustain a high‑performing organization by strengthening technical capabilities, deepening expertise, and implementing effective succession planning and talent development strategies.
  • Ensure all organizational activities are conducted in full alignment with company policies, strategic priorities, regulatory requirements, and financial commitments.
Qualifications
  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and bring a minimum of twenty (20) years of relevant experience in aerospace or a related field, with progressively increasing responsibility.
  • You have strong management experience, including conducting performance evaluations, overseeing staffing allocation, driving process improvements, and supporting employee development.
  • You possess extensive experience in aerospace ground testing, experimental engineering, and flight test aircraft outfitting, with strong knowledge of operations, methods, logistics, quality, health & safety, and new aircraft development processes.
  • You have a proven track record of attracting, developing, and retaining top talent, while effectively mentoring team members to maximize their potential and performance.
  • You are highly effective in fast‑paced, high‑volume, and rapidly changing environments, and consistently demonstrate strong execution and results orientation.
  • You demonstrate confidence and credibility, with strong communication skills that enable you to effectively lead and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • You meet the eligibility requirements for registration under the Canadian Controlled Goods Directorate (CGD) Program.
  • You are fully bilingual in French and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
