Job description

We're looking for Civil Engineering Interns to join our team at our Overland Park, Kansas location (in office). As an intern, you will help with the design of various projects in any of our service areas of Land Development, Public Works, or Transportation.
What You Will Do:
  • Gain diverse experience by working on a variety of real-world projects that may include residential and commercial developments, schools, healthcare facilities, athletic facilities, roadways, streets, bridges, and more.
  • Learn and use industry-specific design software (AutoCAD and Civil 3D).
  • Work directly with licensed engineers, project managers, and designers.
  • Learn the full design process from start to finish.
  • Assist the project team in meeting client expectations and schedules.

Requirements:
  • Actively pursuing an engineering degree from an ABET accredited program.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Exposure to or awareness of industry-specific software (AutoCAD, Civil3D, and/or Microstation) is preferred.
  • Strong desire to be part of a team-oriented culture.
  • Positive attitude, strong enthusiasm, and eagerness to learn.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
