Hendrick Motorsports a leader in the automotive racing industry, is currently seeking a race engine assembler.

Summary:Underthe general direction of the Engine Production Manager, the race engine assembleris responsible forassembling enginesandmeasuring, inspecting, and assembling components to ensure maximum operating efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following:

  • Read and interpret assembly blueprints and specifications manuals and plan assembly or building operations.
  • Maintain and lubricate parts and components.
  • Inspect and prepcomponents for assembly.
  • Set and verify critical clearances.
  • Inspect and replace damaged partsinassemblies.
  • Maintain and lubricate parts and components for assembly.
  • Verify conformance of parts to specifications using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
  • Fasten and install piping, fixtures, and components to form assemblies or subassemblies using hand tools.
