Job description


The Engagement Center Ambassador serves as a strategic partner to Business Development and Program Leadership and is the principal representative of their designated Digital Engagement Center (DEC), entrusted with advancing Lockheed Martin's mission to deliver immersive, customer focused experiences that bring the Lockheed Martin vision to life. This role integrates external representation, internal enablement, and strategic advocacy while ensuring the Center operates as a hub for collaboration, innovation, and mission readiness.
This role collaborates with Business Development leads, LMGA personnel and Business Area stakeholders to shape engagement strategies that are both user-centered and mission aligned. A key responsibility includes integrating cultural storytelling and enterprise campaign messaging into DEC experiences, reinforcing Lockheed Martin's values, innovation legacy, and regional partnerships. The successful candidate will work to ensure their center, as a trusted partner to the internal Lockheed Martin customer, delivers a cohesive, resonant experience that supports strategic business outcomes.
Primary Roles
Internal Enablement Guide
Proactively engage internal customers (Business Areas, Business Development, Programs, etc.) to help them envision how Engagement Centers can be utilized and leveraged for their own customer interactions. Share business/use cases that clearly demonstrate how other programs and business development efforts have successfully been used across any center to deliver impactful engagements that support the mission
Mission Advocate
Champion the DEC's mission first approach, ensuring engagements consistently support customer success and enterprise objectives
Capability Demonstrator
Showcase advanced technologies and solutions to dignitaries, coalition partners, and regional stakeholders through tailored demonstrations and immersive experiences
Business Development Catalyst
Enable collaborative sessions with customers to identify opportunities, highlight business value, and secure new pursuits
Industry Connector
Build and sustain relationships with domestic and global industry partners, enabling collaborative innovation and shared success
Enterprise Collaborator
Support cross business workshops and strategy summits, aligning enterprise priorities and fostering innovation across teams
Community Advocate
Engage with local stakeholders to advance social impact initiatives, including veterans' programs and STEM outreach with schools
Key Responsibilities
• Represent the DEC across events, meetings, and outreach activities, strengthening relationships with stakeholders.
• Communicate program objectives, benefits, and outcomes to diverse audiences, amplifying the DEC's reach and reputation
• Support recruitment and retention of participants through proactive engagement and outreach.
• Serve as a trusted resource for current and prospective participants, offering guidance and support
• Provide actionable feedback to leadership to continuously improve DEC quality and effectiveness
• Maintain accurate records of outreach, engagements, and participant interactions
• Maintain a comprehensive customer portfolio capturing how the centers were strategically utilized to enhance future engagements and exemplify value for additional opportunities
• Attend regular check ins with staff and fellow ambassadors to ensure alignment and collaboration
• Share innovative solutions that expand the DEC's influence and enhance customer engagement
Basic Qualifications
Basic Qualifications :
• Demonstrated experience in customer-facing, technical demonstration, or business development roles.
• Experience leading large, multi-disciplinary teams across multiple organizations and Business Areas
• Experience developing strategic partnerships across functions, programs, industry, and government
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and brief stakeholders at all levels
• Advanced problem-solving capabilities, including root cause analysis and resolution
• Ability to work independently, proactively, and with minimal oversight
• U.S. Citizenship required
Desired skills
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
• Executive-level presentation skills and professional presence
• Familiarity with cultural storytelling, enterprise campaign integration, and customer engagement strategy
• Familiarity with Business Development lifecycle

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $120,100 - $208,150. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
