Position Title: Senior Designer – Pipeline/Mapping

Location: Houston, TX

Position Description

The Senior Designer – Pipeline/Mapping will be responsible performing detail design activities within the Pipeline/Mapping discipline.


Essential Functions

· Perform designs and layouts of Alignment Sheets, Property Plats and Permit Drawings utilizing CAD hardware and software.

· Review vendor drawings and other documents.

Requirements:

Qualifications

· 5 or more years of experience in a drafting environment developing Pipeline/Mapping drafting deliverables

· 5 years of CAD experience

· AutoCAD 2016 and Civil 3D

· Microsoft Word and Excel

· Working knowledge of applicable codes and industry standards.

· Working knowledge of survey data and aerial photography/imagery

· Working knowledge of public domain mapping from federal, state and local agencies such as USGS, USDA, NOAA and DOT

· MicroStation V8 a plus

· Blue Sky Skyline

· ARGIS data and map creation

· Microsoft Access


Education

· High school diploma required. Associate's degree or certification from technical trade school preferred

Work Environment/Physical Demands

· Working conditions are normal for an office environment.

· Frequent sitting and operating a computer.
