Job description

McLeod Software is seeking a strategic, process-driven Manager of Sales Operations to lead the teams responsible for sales operations, proposal management, and contract administration. This leader will oversee Sales Operations Specialists and Contract Analysts while driving operational excellence across the sales organization.
Working closely with Sales Leadership, Product, Legal, Accounting, and Operations, you'll streamline sales processes, improve contract execution, optimize sales systems, and help equip our sales organization for continued growth.
What You'll Do
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Sales Operations Specialists and Contract Analysts.
  • Drive continuous improvement across proposal development, contract management, and sales support processes.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to improve operational efficiency and accelerate sales execution.
  • Oversee proposal and contract workflows, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
  • Improve CRM and sales data quality to support forecasting, reporting, and strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Product, Legal, Accounting, Operations, and other internal teams to remove process bottlenecks.
  • Participate in Pricing Committee discussions and product release planning to support go-to-market initiatives.
  • Evaluate and optimize sales technologies including NetSuite, RAPTOR, DocuSign, SharePoint, and future sales enablement tools.
  • Serve as a key stakeholder in the implementation and ongoing optimization of CPQ.
  • Develop documentation, best practices, and training programs that enable sales teams to work more efficiently.
  • Monitor departmental performance metrics and implement improvements that enhance customer and employee experiences.

What We're Looking For
  • 5-10 years of experience in Sales Operations, Contract Management, Business Operations, or a related leadership role.
  • Proven success leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong background in process improvement, workflow optimization, and operational strategy.
  • Experience working with CRM, CPQ, contract management, and sales enablement platforms.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles.
  • Transportation or enterprise software industry experience is a plus.
