Job Description

The Automation Enablement teamis responsible for designing and documenting automation solutions that address business needs. This role focuses on solution identification, design recommendations, and collaboration with technical and business stakeholders to ensure solutions are well-defined, feasible, and aligned with requirements, infrastructure, and delivery timelines.

The individual will collaborate closely with business partners, operations teams, and technical delivery resources to identify automation opportunities, gather and refine define requirements, design scalable automation solutions, and support implementation activities. This role requires strong communication and relationship-building skills, technical aptitude, hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform development experience, and the ability to translate business needs into practical, value-driven technology solutions. The successful candidate will help drive innovation through automation and emerging technology adoption while ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational priorities.

This role does not support visa sponsorship, including STEM OPT and requires working from one of the posted U.S. Bank locations three (3) or more days per week.

Key Responsibilities, Skills and Capabilities:

  • Identify and define AI and automation solutions aligned to business requirements

  • Create design recommendations and define overall solution structures

  • Supportplatform unification through consistent, reusable design patterns

  • Participate in and facilitatesolution workshops to gather requirements and align stakeholders

  • Identify impacted data sources, systems, integrations, and dependencies

  • Identify infrastructure needs and constraints

  • Inform functional and technical requirements, sequencing, and delivery timelines

  • Assess emerging technologies for suitability and business value

  • Support solution cost and complexity estimation

  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams

  • Contribute as aPower Platform automation maker when needed to support design validation or targeted build activities

  • Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and determine practical applicability, business value, and implementation feasibility.

  • Strong solution design and architecture skills with the ability to develop scalable, sustainable, and supportable automation solutions.

  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, business domains, and technology platforms.

  • Strong risk identification and mitigation capabilities, with the ability to anticipate dependencies, constraints, and trade-offs early in the solutioning process.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying current on emerging automation, AI, and digital transformation trends.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in automation, process improvement, technology delivery, solution design, or a related discipline.

  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation technologies, Microsoft Power Platform, Power Apps and Power Automate and emerging technology solutions.

  • Experience evaluating, implementing, and supporting AI-enabled solutions and emerging technologies to address business challenges and improve operational efficiency.

  • Experience developing and delivering automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and related technologies preferred.

  • Experience leading complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, technologies, and business areas.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence decisions, build consensus, and drive outcomes across cross-functional teams without direct authority.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and risk assessment capabilities.

  • Ability to identify risks, dependencies, and trade-offs while balancing strategic objectives with practical implementation considerations.

  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable, sustainable technology solutions that deliver measurable business value and positive user experiences.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Pay Range: $92,820.00 - $109,200.00
