Job description

Job Summary:
Saviance is seeking an experienced Scrum Master with a strong background in Healthcare Applications, specifically within Laboratory Information Systems and Genetics platforms. The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile delivery across cross-functional teams and drive Scrum best practices while collaborating closely with product owners and healthcare stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Drive Agile best practices and ensure Scrum framework adherence across teams.
• Work closely with Product Owners to manage and prioritize product backlog.
• Identify and remove impediments impacting team productivity and delivery timelines.
• Track sprint metrics, velocity, burn-down charts, and delivery progress.
• Coordinate with development, QA, DevOps, business analysts, and healthcare stakeholders.
• Support release planning and ensure smooth sprint execution.
• Foster continuous improvement and team collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare standards, data privacy, and regulated development practices where applicable.
• Collaborate with teams working on Epic integrations, interoperability, and healthcare application enhancements.
• Manage stakeholder communication and provide regular project updates.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.
• Strong experience in Healthcare Applications, Laboratory Systems, Diagnostics, Genomics, or Genetics domain.
• Hands-on experience working with Epic EMR/EHR systems or Epic-integrated healthcare applications.
• Good understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, Scrum, and Kanban frameworks.
• Experience working with cross-functional distributed teams.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile tools.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, etc.) preferred.
Preferred:
• Exposure to HL7, FHIR, EMR/EHR integrations, or healthcare interoperability standards.
• Experience in Clinical Lab workflows, Molecular Diagnostics, or Genetic Testing platforms.
• Experience supporting Epic modules, healthcare integrations, or interoperability initiatives.
• Prior experience in regulated healthcare environments.
• Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices is a plus.
