  • You will manage or assist in managing complex projects to support the implementation and acquisition of a variety of IT systems, products and/or services for the Marine Corps/DON/DoD.
  • You will coordinate with the internal and external organizations in the planning, development, testing and implementation of new or revised IT systems.
  • You will formulate, recommend, and implement configuration policies and procedures related to their project(s).
  • You will track, control and mange changes and software versions of configuration items.
  • You will guide, motivate, and oversees the activities of individuals and teams with focus on project/program issues.

  • This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 632 level Advanced within 12 months of appointment.

1. Attention to Detail
Reviewed system requirements, configuration items, software documentation, and testing results to ensure accuracy, maintain configuration integrity, enforce information security requirements, and support successful system implementation throughout the development lifecycle.
2. Customer Service
Collaborated with customers, project personnel, and system stakeholders to understand operational requirements, provide technical guidance, support system testing and implementation, deliver user training, and resolve issues that improved customer satisfaction.
3. Oral Communication
Communicated technical information clearly to project teams, customers, managers, and system users by providing status updates, explaining system functionality, conducting user training, and coordinating implementation activities throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Problem Solving
Analyzed system requirements, identified technical issues affecting software, hardware, networking, and configuration management, developed practical solutions, resolved implementation challenges, and ensured systems met operational and security requirements before deployment.
Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
In addition:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NH-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1. Knowledge of capabilities and requirements analysis.
2. Knowledge of cloud computing service models Software as a Service (SaaS), Infrastructure as a
Service (laaS), and Platform as a Service (PaaS).
3. Knowledge of the systems engineering process.
4. Interpret IT policies, standards, and guidelines.
5. Coordinate with systems architects and developers, as needed, to provide oversight in the
development of design solutions.
6. Ensure that all systems components can be integrated and aligned (e.g., procedures, databases,
policies, software, and hardware).
