Location: 2500 Marty Robbins Dr. Bldg 10 Lebanon TN 37090 (This is a Hybrid position to be performed at one of the Company’s operational facilities for 3 days on site).

Compensation: The base pay range for this position is $140-210k. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other job-related factors.

This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, or other incentive compensation in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan of up to a 20% Bonus Target.

Employment Logistics: 

The Sr. HR Manager serves as a strategic people leader and trusted advisor to General Managers and Regional Operations leadership, translating business strategy into scalable workforce solutions across a complex, multi-site operational environment. This role combines hands-on HR leadership with organizational consulting, workforce planning, change management, and operational partnership to drive business performance, employee engagement, and labor stability.

In addition to leading and developing a team of HR professionals, this role partners directly with Operations leadership to deliver HR programs and solutions that strengthen performance, engagement, and retention. The Sr. HR Manager works closely with HR Directors and enterprise HR teams, including Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Employee Resource Center, and Talent Management, to ensure strong adoption of enterprise initiatives and a consistent employee experience across the network.

The Must-Haves: 

  • 7–8 years of progressive HR experience
  • 3–5 years of experience leading an HR team
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Professional certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience supporting an employee headcount of 1,500+ in a multi-state environment
  • Proven track record in employee relations, performance management, and organizational development
  • Experience using HRIS, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to support workforce planning, engagement, and retention strategies
  • Up to 30% Travel

  • Team leadership & execution: Hire, lead, coach, and develop a team of HR professionals; operate as a player-coach by directly handling complex HR matters while guiding the team on execution, priorities, workflows, and accountability.
  • Business partnership & people strategy: Influence operational decision-making through workforce insights, labor trends, and organizational risk analysis; partner with business leaders to improve productivity, retention, engagement, and labor cost efficiency; translate operational goals into scalable people strategies that support growth and service performance.
  • Leadership capability & stakeholder partnership: Partner with business stakeholders and HR COEs to enhance leadership capability and drive consistent, high-impact management practices across the organization.
  • Employee relations & performance management: Oversee and personally handle complex employee relations matters, including investigations, risk assessment, and escalation to Legal as needed; coach leaders and the HR team on performance management practices, including counseling and disciplinary actions; ensure consistent policy application and risk mitigation.
  • Talent & organizational effectiveness: Drive core HR processes including performance management, engagement surveys, succession planning, talent reviews, and development planning; lead onboarding strategy and execution for key roles such as General Managers; support organizational design and change management tied to business priorities.
  • Engagement & retention: Lead the development and execution of engagement and retention strategies; conduct site visits to assess culture, gather employee feedback, and identify opportunities to improve the employee experience.
  • Labor planning & data-driven insights: Partner with Operations on labor planning strategies to optimize staffing, productivity, and cost efficiency; analyze workforce and business metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and engagement to identify trends and guide proactive actions.
  • Cross-functional partnership & enterprise program adoption: Partner with enterprise HR teams—including Total Rewards, Recruiting, ERC, and Talent Management, to drive alignment, adoption, and localized execution of enterprise programs.
  • Organizational change, compliance & special projects: Lead change management efforts related to transformation, restructuring, and enterprise initiatives; ensure consistent interpretation and application of HR policies and compliance guidance; lead or support special HR projects and other job-related duties as assigned.
