Founded in 1955, Dignity Health - Northridge Hospital Medical Center is a 394-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital located. Serving over 80,000 patients annually, the hospital offers a full complement of services including a Level II Trauma Center, heart care, cancer care and women's health. It is the only pediatric trauma center in the San Fernando Valley.

Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Manager Employee Health at Northridge Hospital Medical Center, you will be responsible for the operations of Employee Health, Workers' Compensation and Wellness Programs. You will lead program development, reporting, analysis and interpretation, consultation, nursing assessment and education for employees within the areas of pre-employment, annual health checks, safety related to employee injuries and wellness. You will help to develop performance improvement activities related to Employee health, Workers' Compensation and Wellness Programs, maintaining compliance with Dignity Health (DH) policies and procedures, and all applicable State and federal programs. You will be a servant leader and strive to inspire your team to maintains a high level of quality patient care.

Job Requirements
Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing or related field required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years clinical experience in acute or clinic setting required.
  • At least two (2) years direct experience in providing care to individuals with occupational injuries, risk management and workers' compensation claims management required.
  • Knowledge of occupational health, workers' compensation, labor code and Occupational Safety and Health
    Administration(OSHA) regulations is required.

Required Licensure:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) by the State of California required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
  • Fire Safety within 90 days from start date required.
