ABOUT PALIHOTEL WESTWOOD VILLAGE

Palihotel Westwood Village is a 55-room boutique hotel nestled in Westwood Village, one of the most recognized university towns in the country. The hotel embodies a mix of mid-century modern with Parisian eclecticism, all set in a delightful historic building that was once home to Westwood Village's first-ever hotel, dating back to 1939.

POSITION PROFILE

The Room Attendant keeps our guest rooms spotless and welcoming - the behind-the-scenes hands that make every stay feel comfortable and cared for. You'll bring an eye for detail to everything from fresh linens to sparkling surfaces.

THE TASK AT HAND

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms to pristine, sanitary standards, prioritizing based on supervisor direction and guest check-ins.

  • Change linens and towels, make beds, and replace bathroom amenities and tissue to standard.

  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, mirrors, and all surfaces, and empty trash and ice buckets.

  • Dust, polish, and realign furniture, mirrors, and fixtures to match the floor plan.

  • Inspect furniture, electronics, and fixtures for damage or malfunction, reporting issues to your supervisor.

  • Maintain and swap out in-room collateral such as menus and postcards.

  • Check under beds, in closets, and drawers for guest items or debris left behind.

  • Follow uniform guidelines and hotel cleaning procedures using approved products.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required

  • Minimum one year of experience in a similar role.

  • Strong working knowledge of and passion for hospitality, guest-service oriented.

  • Strong knowledge of cleaning products.

Physical

  • Ability to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shift, including bending and lifting up to 40 lbs.

  • Flexible schedule, able to work a variety of shifts.
