Raytheon is seeking an experienced Material Program Manager (MPM) in support of a development program, moving to production within Naval Power onsite in Tucson, Arizona.  This role will be responsible for program supplier performance and material management.  In this role you will develop and execute a material program strategy/plan for a program or integrated product team.  You will be the liaison between Supply Chain and the Program Team engaging with the program supply base, executing material strategies and plans as well as tactical execution through product delivery. 

Key responsibilities include the following: developing and implementing material strategies, monitoring and driving supplier deliveries, contributing to material forecasts, EACs, and proposals as needed. To be successful, the candidate must be a self-starter, capable of developing and achieving organizational and program objectives, and must be able to successfully interface with all levels of internal management, including supplier management.

What You Will Do:

  • Proactively monitor and address performance metrics (cost, schedule, quality) to ensure alignment with program goals.
  • Manage supplier relationships, ensuring cost-effective material availability and collaborating with Program IPTs and PMO.
  • Develop and maintain a proactive material procurement strategy, ensuring smooth material flow for development, production, and sustainment.
  • Forecast materials and sales deliveries accurately for various program phases (Development, Production, and Sustainment)
  • Master Data, MRP and Scheduling collaboration
  • Support proposal efforts by working with Proposal Teams to provide compliant material pricing.
  • Work with adopting programs to maximize efficiency, identifying opportunities for commonality between programs.
  • Oversee supplier performance, ensure compliance with SCM metrics, and manage international issues, including compliance with regulations (e.g., FAR/DFARS, ITAR) and quality control.
  • Willingness to travel domestically as required

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum of 5 years experience
  • Experience in supply chain and related systems, procurement, MRP, receiving, cost estimating, and/or finance
  • Experience with supplier management and/or subcontract management
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with SAP/PRISM and the Supply Chain suite of tools
  • Experience with PDM and Engineering applications
  • Experience managing technical requirements to a schedule and budget
  • Experience with supplier management and/or subcontract management
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and/or Power Point)

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
