Job description

Who We Are
Royal is a diverse manufacturer of injection molding, urethane foam and assemblies. We serve the automotive, furniture, and consumer products industries. People who succeed at Royal are those who share the values of our company: Integrity. Stewardship. Teamwork. Hard work. Excellence.
We're committed to being the employer of choice. Our goal is to build a culture of commitment where everyone is respected and valued. Where everyone participates. Where everyone matters. We give our employees the responsibility - and the authority - to make decisions. We try to provide the best possible work environment. We encourage creativity. We applaud ingenuity. We reward problem solving.
What You'll Do
Are you a strategic thinker who thrives at the intersection of finance and growth? We are looking for a sharp, commercially-minded Customer Finance Manager (CFM) to serve as the financial architect for our New Business Development (NBD) team.
In this role, you aren't just "running the numbers"-you are an integral part in our expansion strategy. You will partner with the NBD team to enter untapped industries, crafting competitive quotes and complex financial models that ensure our growth is not just fast, but profitable.
Responsibilities:
  • Construct "Winning" Quotes: Partner with the NBD Sales Manager to build pricing models for new markets, ensuring we account for unique industry risks, capital requirements, and margin targets.
  • Study the Market: Research and analyze financial trends in target industries to ensure our commercial terms (payment cycles, credit risk, etc.) are competitive yet secure.
  • Strategic Guardrails: Act as the financial voice in the room during "Go/No-Go" discussions, providing objective analysis on the long-term viability of new business opportunities.
  • Contract Negotiation: Support the sales team in high-level negotiations, explaining financial structures to prospective customers and ensuring internal ROI hurdles are met.
  • Post-Award Review: Establish a feedback loop to compare "quoted vs. actual" performance, whether won or lost, refining our bidding strategy for the next win.
  • Execute Successful Handoffs: Upon award, successfully handoff the project to the launch team, communicating pricing strategies and ensuring seamless continuity to the customer.

Who You Are
  • A Commercial Partner: You understand that finance is an enabler of sales, not a hurdle. You can speak the language of "Growth" and "Margin" in the same breath.
  • Analytical Rigor: You have a mastery of Excel and financial modeling. You can simulate various scenarios to stress-test a deal.
  • Persuasive Communicator: You can distill complex financial models into clear, actionable insights for executive leadership.

What You'll Bring
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • Experience: 5+ years in Commercial Finance, Costing, or FP&A specifically supporting sales or business development teams.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and constructing costed bills of materials.
  • Track Record: Proven experience in entering new markets or launching new product lines from a financial perspective.
  • Traveler: Ability to travel to customers and meet face-to-face to establish relationships and ensure alignment on quotes.

What You'll Get
  • Weekly pay
  • Quarterly bonuses based on profitability
  • Ownership in the company through our ESOP plan (Employee Stock Ownership Plan)
  • Outstanding medical insurance
  • On-site wellness facility available 24 hours a day
