The Raytheon Talent team delivers the design and execution of strategic talent solutions. We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join our Employee Experience & Onboarding team. Our team works cross‑functionally to ensure every new hire begins their Raytheon experience feeling informed, connected, supported, and ready to contribute – and carries that throughout their employment journey. This individual will directly lead the end‑to‑end planning, execution, and continuous improvement of key employee experience initiatives at Raytheon. The Employee Experience & Onboarding team sits within the Raytheon Talent COE, which includes Organization & Team Effectiveness, Leader & All Employee Development, Talent Management, Executive Development, and Operational Excellence & Strategy.

The ideal candidate has exceptionally strong program management, stakeholder partnership, strategic thinking, and analytical skills. They thrive in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments where expectations are high and priorities shift quickly. They are energized by owning complex cross‑functional solutions, building alignment across diverse partners, and delivering a world‑class employee experience that reflects Raytheon’s culture and activates our mission. This person excels at creating clarity, driving outcomes, and applying data to influence strategy and improvements.

This position will be remote, with up to 25% travel across Raytheon’s US sites.


What You Will Do

  • Lead the full lifecycle planning and execution of employee experience initiatives, including onboarding programs, site engagement activities and multi‑site deployment projects.
  • Design, manage and implement process improvements in response to key data metrics and feedback to continuously enhance employee-facing experiences.
  • Partner across functions and business leaders to coordinate project activities that align to organizational goals and talent priorities.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key experience and engagement KPIs to inform stakeholders and support strategic decision making.
  • Oversee the development, standardization and maintenance of program resources, documentation, guidelines and tools.
  • Visit sites, conduct focus groups, and connect with employees to understand experience so that their needs are prioritized in our solutions.
  • Stay connected with internal and external trends on employee experience, engagement, onboarding and talent retention.
  • Partner with Talent COE teams to align workstreams with broader talent management, employee experience and leadership development strategies.
  • Leverage continuous improvement methodologies, best practices and benchmarking to advance deployment practices across Raytheon.
  • Support enterprise communications related to program updates, deployments and key initiatives.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a university degree with 10 years of prior relevant experience OR an advanced degree with 8 years of related experience.
  • 6+ years of experience owning programs or large‑scale initiatives within the HR, Talent Management or Employee Experience fields.
  • Experience managing cross‑functional stakeholders and delivering strategic, high‑visibility programs.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience leading multiple programs or projects simultaneously from concept through adoption, tracking deliverables, driving change and achieving strategic goals.
  • Strong analytical and data‑interpretation skills supporting program measurement, reporting and continuous improvement.
  • High learning agility, emotional intelligence, initiative, and resourcefulness; especially in highly ambiguous, fast‑moving environments.
  • Ability to leverage tools and technology including the O365 Suite.
  • CORE Apprentice and/or Champion Level Certificate, with interest in pursuing advanced CORE training.

  • Remote: This position currently is designated as remote. The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
