Job description

At Tactile Medical, we specialize in developing at-home therapy devices to treat lymphedema, chronic venous insufficiency and respiratory illnesses.
Position Summary
The Market Development Manager supports the development and execution of strategic initiatives that expand awareness, diagnosis, and treatment of lymphedema, venous and/or lymphatic disorders, and/or respiratory conditions using Tactile Medical products. This role collaborates closely with cross functional teams to drive clinician engagement, patient activation, and product adoption. The ideal candidate brings experience in medical device marketing or sales, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to translate clinical and market insights into actionable programs.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
• Execute multi-channel market development plans that support company objectives for assigned conditions.
• Develop and implement programs that increase awareness of targeted conditions and promote best practices in screening, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Equip the sales organization with tools, resources, and insights that enhance field execution and product adoption.
• Support patient activation initiatives by ensuring clear, relevant, and accessible educational content across digital and clinical touchpoints.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the patient journey and collaborate with advocacy organizations to expand patient reach.
• Gather and analyze market, clinical, competitive, and payer insights to inform strategy and cross-functional decision-making.
• Assist in developing and managing relationships with clinical thought leaders, societies, and advocacy groups to elevate disease awareness and treatment standards.
• Collaborate closely with field sales teams to ensure alignment between market development initiatives and field needs.
• Manage assigned projects to completion on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, life sciences, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in medical device, healthcare, or life sciences marketing or sales.
• Ability to travel up to 35%.
• Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Preferred:
• MBA or equivalent advanced education.
• 5+ years medical device industry experience, significant customer-facing or sales experience.
• Experience working with vein specialists, vascular surgeons, oncologists, interventional products, or DME.
• Additional experience in market development, downstream marketing, clinical marketing, or disease-state education.

Below is the starting salary or hourly range for this position, although offers may differ based on the candidate's location, job-specific knowledge, skills and experience.

$100,500-$150,675 USD
