About Your Roleย 

The Talent Development & Engagement Specialist is part of the Learning and Culture team that creates and enhances our company culture and employee experiences at every opportunity - starting with their very first day! This role supports the planning and execution of employee experience programs in areas such as new hire onboarding, company communications, and employee engagement. The Talent Development & Engagement Specialist is responsible for championing the employee experience with a passion for providing superior internal employee service, inclusion, and career development opportunities.ย 

How You'll Make an Impactย 
  • Strategically plan and develop employee engagement and culture programs that foster community, inclusion, and an award-winning culture.ย 
  • Co-own the New Hire Orientation Experience with the Employee Development Manager to ensure a consistent, engaging onboarding experience.ย 
  • Assist Learning and Culture team with development ofย  instructor-led training initiatives as needed
  • Support Summer Intern and Early Career programs in collaboration with the Employee Development Manager.
  • Support the management of our internal company Intranet (WorkVivo) and external social media page (Instagram), managing posts on company news, photos, and community engagement.ย 
  • Create and deploy company-wide announcements, newsletters, and internal cultural and learning communications.ย 
  • Create presentation decks and facilitation materials as needed for internal training.
  • Serve as the lead for the QGenda Culture Committee which plans culture and inclusion events for in-office and remote employees (ex: happy hours, trivia breaks, and cultural recognition such as Women's History Month and Black History Month)ย 
  • Consult on and support employee events, from social functions to all-hands meetings within the business to ensure consistent employee experience where possible.
  • Support (fill in as needed) front desk and pantry/office areas and staff, ensuring a high level of employee service.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve our team member experience. Assess current programs and propose innovative ways to improve existing ones.

  • Ability to design presentation decks for audiences using various platformsย 
  • Current knowledge of technology best practices (including AI), learning and engagement systems, intranet, and collaborative office/team systems.ย 
  • Strong attention to detail and timeliness with regard to budgets, communications, and other administrative duties to ensure the timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal effectiveness at all levels in the organization, with the ability to speak in front of various sized groups to convey a process or give instructionย 
  • Able to effectively manage multiple projects and attend to daily HR matters while maintaining focus and follow-through on issues until resolved and delivering results as committed.
  • Ability to prioritize and efficiently execute a high volume and broad scope of tasks within tight deadlines, competing demands, and changes in the work environment.
  • Ability to apply change management initiatives to assist in business transformation.
Experience You Bringย 
  • Bachelor's degree preferred and a minimum of one year of experience in office management, culture and engagement, learning/teaching or a similar position.
  • Strong interest in corporate employee development
  • Enthusiastic about representing and reinforcing the company's mission and values
  • Reliable attendance in-person at the Atlanta office at least three days per week. Additional days may be required for key events.
  • Basic understanding of adult learning principles
