Chemours is seeking a Corporate Communications Intern to join our Communications team! This position will report directly to the Sr. Manager, Media Relations & Brand Reputation.

In this role, you will assist in planning and executing strategies that enhance the Chemours brand and corporate reputation among key audiences. As an intern, you will gain valuable exposure to the corporate communications department of a leading chemical company. You will have the opportunity to participate in the planning and development of impactful brand communications for external and internal audiences.

Location: Wilmington, DE

Hours: Regular part-time schedule of 24 hours per week (in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)

Term: 3-month assignment between June - August 2026, with potential to extend through December

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Developing timely content and graphics for external corporate brand channels (e.g., website, 3BL Media, LinkedIn)

  • Developing compelling internal communications, such as organization announcements, intranet content, and more

  • Supporting video development including scripting, filming, and editing

  • Assisting in developing briefing materials for events, speaking appearances, and/or media interviews

  • Tracking and reporting against key performance indicators for communications programs

  • Updating and maintaining corporate communication calendars, as well as managing corporate website and intranet content requests

  • Supporting media, social media, industry, or competitive research projects to advance advocacy and/or proactive storytelling opportunities

The following is required for this role:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university as a rising Senior, or recently completed an undergraduate degree at time of assignment

  • Undergraduate degree in communications, public relations, marketing, and/or journalism (in progress or completed)

  • Excellent time management and writing skills are essential, as you will be required to meet tight deadlines and produce high-quality communication materials

  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work both individually and in a team environment

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize, follow up with assigned tasks and deadlines in a timely manner

  • Consistent use of good judgment, and ability to maintain confidentiality

The following is preferred for this role:

  • 3.0 GPA or above

  • Prior communications, marketing, public relations, or social media internship experience

  • Self-starter with strong strategic thinking abilities and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively

  • Experience using tools such as Muck Rack, Hootsuite, Canva, Microsoft Office suite, etc.
