Job description

That's why our teams are comprised of compassionate, dedicated professionals from a variety of backgrounds who collaborate to provide the very best evidence-based care for our clients at all levels of care.
Position Overview
As a dishwasher, you will maintain kitchen sanitation and safety by washing dishware and cookware in accordance with The Emily Program's processes. You will also maintain the dishwashing area in accordance with nutrition and culinary policies and procedures, as well as regulatory sanitation and safety standards.
Schedule
  • 20-24 hours per week
  • Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday
    • Main shift 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
  • Hours may vary based on department needs

Compensation Disclosure
  • Dishwasher: Starting hourly range between $14-16 per hour

Final Compensation offered will be within pay range based on qualifications/experience met for the position
How Dishwashers Empower Recovery
  • Completion of any daily tasks as assigned by the Culinary Manager/Lead.
  • Washes dishes and maintains overall area cleanliness to meet safety, sanitation and regulatory requirements.
  • Sweeps, mops, cleans and sanitizes floors and equipment daily.
  • Maintains order and organization to the dish room, kitchen and dining areas.
  • Assists other kitchen staff with proper food and supply dating, labeling and stocking, as requested
  • Ensures attendance and punctuality for assigned shifts so that patient care can remain a top priority.
  • Completes all assignments from Learning and Development and review of policies and procedures within assigned timeframes.
  • Maintains appropriate, therapeutic boundaries with clients and their communities of support at all times ensuring adherence to HIPPA regulations for all culinary employees.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Dishwashing experience, preferred.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
  • ServSafe Handler Certification or ability to obtain upon hire, required.
