U.S. Army Emergency Medicine Physician’s provide critical medical care to stabilize and treat Soldiers and their families with acute health problems or traumatic injury

As an Emergency Medicine Physician for the U.S. Army, you will have access to the latest and most advanced medical technology and techniques to care for Soldiers, retirees, and their families. You will be on the frontline of treating patients requiring immediate medical attention. You’ll examine, diagnose, and treat or prescribe courses of treatment for the initial phase of disease and injuries. There may be opportunities to participate in developmental research for advancements in your field. ★ Must have a current license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico

★ Must be eligible for board certification

★ Must have completed at least one year of an approved Graduate Medical Education (GME) internship

★ Must have completed a training program in emergency medicine

★ Must be a U.S. citizen to serve on Active Duty

★ Must have permanent U.S. residency for Army Reserve
