Job description

Desktop Support Technician – Contract
Location: Onsite (5 days/week to start)
Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Desktop Support Technician to join an exciting, fast-paced organization. This is a hands-on role supporting end users with desktop deployments, hardware setup, troubleshooting, and day-to-day IT operations. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who enjoys solving problems, works well in a dynamic environment, and is eager to learn.
Responsibilities

  • Image and deploy computers
  • Set up and configure user workstations
  • Provide Audio/Visual (AV) support
  • Ship, receive, and inventory computer equipment
  • Move and install IT equipment as needed
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and end-user issues
  • Support day-to-day desktop and IT operations
  • Mac & PC experience

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Microsoft Azure – plus if have done provisioning, user management, or general Azure administration. Ideally must have some exposure.
  • Microsoft 365 Administration preferred, including:
    • Exchange Online
    • Microsoft 365 Admin Center
    • SharePoint
  • Strong desktop support and troubleshooting experience
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills
  • If have not done AV open to learn it


Certifications
At least one of the following certifications is preferred:

  • CompTIA A+
  • Network+
  • Security+
  • Microsoft Azure Certification a huge plus

ITIL certification is a strong plus.
Education

  • Bachelor's degree (4-year degree) is a big plus
