General Summary: Under the direction of the Deputy Commissioner, the Dispatch Supervisor is a civilian public safety position of the Muscogee ( Creek) Nation responsible for supervising, coordinating, and overseeing daily dispatch center operations to ensure effective emergency communications and responder support. The position provides first- line leadership to Dispatch personnel, ensures compliance with policies and procedures, and maintains operational readiness for 24/ 7 public safety communications.
The Dispatch Supervisor supports public safety operations occurring within the Muscogee ( Creek) Nation' s jurisdiction, including Indian Country as defined in 18 U. S. C. § 1151, as well as other areas served through mutual aid or
intergovernmental agreements. This position does not exercise sworn law- enforcement authority, does not perform arrest or enforcement functions, and does not supervise detainees or prisoners.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Supervise, schedule, and assign Dispatch personnel to ensure continuous, effective 24- hour emergency communications coverage.
Monitor dispatch operations in real time to ensure compliance with
protocols, priorities, and life- safety standards. Provide guidance, coaching, and corrective instruction to Dispatch
personnel during routine operations and critical incidents. Serve as the escalation point for complex calls, operational issues, and
emergency communications decisions. Review dispatch logs, recordings, and documentation for accuracy, quality
assurance, and compliance.
Ensure proper use, access, and security of criminal justice information systems, including OLETS/ NCIC, in accordance with law and policy.
Assist with hiring processes, onboarding, training coordination, and performance evaluations for Dispatch personnel.
Identify training needs and ensure Dispatch personnel maintain required certifications, including OLETS and Emergency Medical Dispatch ( EMD).

partner agencies during routine and emergency situations. Respond to staffing shortages, critical incidents, and operational
disruptions, including on- call response when required. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive, protected, and criminal justice
information.
Perform other supervisory dispatch- related duties consistent with the responsibilities of this position as assigned.
Minimum Requirements: Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Three ( 3) years of progressively responsible experience as a public safety dispatcher or in emergency communications, including at least one ( 1) year in a lead or supervisory capacity.

Preferred Requirements: Education: Prior experience in public safety dispatch, communications, emergency services, or a related field.
Experience: Experience with OLETS/ NCIC or other criminal justice information systems.
Special skills:
Experience handling confidential records or sensitive information. Familiarity with records
management, reporting, or administrative compliance functions. Certifications and licenses: Certification in Emergency Medical Dispatch prior to hire.
