Job description

HOURS:

2nd Shift: Schedule A: Monday-Thursday, 3:00pm to Midnight, Friday 3:00-7:00pm

Schedule B: Monday – Thursday, 3pm to 1am (Rotating every week)

REPORTS TO: Production Manager

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

As a screen printing press support operator, you make the 4imprint brand come alive by providing customers with expertly finished, folded and packaged screen printed products. You will also provide assistance to screen printing press operators in a manufacturing environment.

Here’s what a typical day might look like. (These are the essential functions of the job.) Other duties may be assigned.

  • Demonstrate the eight core principles that guide every 4imprint teammate on a daily basis: Honesty, Curiosity, Collaboration, Flexibility, Accountability, Empathy, Positive Attitude, Humility.
  • Provide the final quality inspection of screen-printed products.
  • Sort items/garments by color.
  • Fold, tag, and bag products as directed on work order.
  • Support operators by unpacking and staging products.
  • Assist in machine set-up.
  • Act as back up for screen printing press operators when needed.
  • Participate in training classes and actively seek professional development.
  • Help in other areas when needed and when time allows.

Required education/skills/experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
    • Equivalent experience is considered having at least 1 year of longevity with a single employer, working in a full-time capacity.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to adapt to a swiftly changing work environment.
  • Detail oriented with a professional attitude.
  • Prior experience operating an automatic screen-printing press, DTG machine, or embroidery machine is preferred.
