Job description

We're Bent Tubes, and we're hiring a driven leader to join our Neenah, WI team as a full-time Production Supervisor! If you have some manufacturing experience and are ready to drive results in a dynamic leadership role, keep reading to learn more!

WHAT A DAY AS OUR PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR LOOKS LIKE:

In this leadership role, you'll work with the production manager to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly and ensure team members continue to grow in their individual roles. You'll oversee your team in bending tubes according to customer specifications and company requirements, stepping in as needed to address and resolve operational, safety, or quality problems. To help increase efficiency and productivity, you'll set daily goals for your team, allocate resources, and participate in strategic facility and workforce planning. You'll also monitor the equipment to ensure functioning, promptly notifying your manager about maintenance concerns or ideas for improvement.

The production team will look to you for guidance and support, and you'll deliver quality training and coaching to empower staff to meet their goals. You'll develop strategies for organizing workflows, optimizing daily productivity, and reducing operational bottlenecks. As your team finishes the products, you'll monitor quality and quickly identify/work through nonconformances. You'll follow ISO documentation standards and provide on-the-job OSHA training as needed to ensure compliance with safety protocols. You'll report on your team's performance, make suggestions for improvements, and manage additional responsibilities as assigned.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial work environment
  • Experience using ERP systems - Epicor is a plus
  • Basic computer proficiency and the ability to type 25+ wpm
  • Comfort with using equipment like saws, crimpers, forklifts, and CNC machines
  • Technical understanding of production machinery, OSHA standards, and quality control
  • 21+ years of age (for driving activities)
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Forklift certification or ability to complete company-provided training
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • CPR, First-Aid, and BBP certification/training - is a plus

Required Abilities

  • Accurately reading and following technical work instructions/documents
  • Lifting 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques
  • Accurately reading tape measures and digital calipers
  • Performing basic math (addition, multiplication, division, etc.)
  • Actively listening to team members, delivering clear instructions, and providing constructive feedback and coaching
  • Leading by example to demonstrate integrity, accountability, and positivity
