The Production Manager is responsible for ensuring production goals are met to satisfy contractual commitments while maximizing efficiency and profitability. This role focuses on parts scheduling and OEE on fabrication equipment. The Production Manager will lead a team, driving performance through effective leadership, resource management, and process optimization to ensure quality, safety, and on-time delivery.

YOUR IMPACT

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned:

  • Oversees plant production by observing activity and setting standards to ensure production and quality needs are met.

  • Conducts meetings and discussions pertaining to continuous improvement in responsible areas.

  • Develop and maintain an environment that promotes productivity and throughput to include conflict resolution.

  • Creates and maintains budgets, approves expenditures, and manages operations keeping within budgets.

  • Direct Production Supervisors and Team Reps to foster employee involvement process.

  • Assure that the production schedules are met as determined by the master schedule.

  • Assure that all units manufactured meet or exceed quality standards.

  • Assist in the development and coordination of new methods and procedures to reduce manufacturing costs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of relevant experience required, OR 12+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge and experience with production scheduling

  • Ability to implement and drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement processes

  • Heavy equipment or automotive manufacturing experience at the management level

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • This position is based in a manufacturing or production environment and may involve exposure to loud noise, dust, moving machinery, or temperature fluctuations.

Pay Range:

$92,600.00 - $154,400.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
