KDC/One - Production Scheduler
Do you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where priorities change quickly and production lines must run efficiently? KDC/One is seeking a Production Scheduler to develop and manage daily and weekly production schedules for our high-speed manufacturing operations.
This is a highly visible, on-site role that works directly with Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams to ensure manufacturing lines are optimized, customer commitments are met, and schedule disruptions are resolved quickly.
The ideal candidate has experience scheduling production in a manufacturing environment and is comfortable making real-time adjustments to support changing business needs.
What you'll do
  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules for multiple manufacturing lines.
  • Sequence production orders to maximize line efficiency, labor utilization, and customer service performance.
  • Monitor schedule adherence and make real-time adjustments in response to equipment downtime, material constraints, staffing issues, and changing priorities.
  • Work directly with Operations Leadership to ensure schedules are achievable and aligned with capacity.
  • Balance customer demand with manufacturing capabilities while minimizing changeovers and production disruptions.
  • Release and manage production orders within an ERP system.
  • Participate in production meetings and communicate schedule changes to cross-functional teams.

Required
  • 2+ years of experience in production scheduling, manufacturing planning, or operations scheduling.
  • Experience scheduling production in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working directly with production teams on the manufacturing floor.
  • Experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems to manage production schedules.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred
  • Experience supporting high-speed manufacturing, packaging, consumer products, cosmetics, food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or related industries.
  • Understanding of production capacity planning, line utilization, and manufacturing constraints.
  • Experience working in SAP production planning modules.
