WORK HOURS:2ndShift - Monday through Friday 2:30 p.m.-11:00 p.m.

  • Mandatory overtime which may include some Saturdays and Sundays during peak operations (Aug-Dec).

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

As a member of the Production/Warehouse team, the Supervisoris a critical leadership role and is responsible promoting a team environment by developing and coaching all team members and ensure operational success through attaining KPIs in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Provide a safe, healthy, and welcoming working environment in a Lean culture for all team members
  • Communicate with Team Lead and team members to resolve issues to attain daily productivity, quality, and delivery goals.
  • Identify problems, find and implement solutions to improve processes and meet goals
  • Ensures positive employee relations by encouraging feedback and active coaching
  • Participates in building teams and developing members
  • Maintains attendance records and approves payroll for all assigned team members
  • Be a champion of the department'sGEMBA; prepares and presents accurate data
  • Partner to find the most efficient process and suggest improvements where needed/identified; encourages team members to provide suggestions
  • Provides positive coaching to change behavior; holds team members accountable to all defined KPIs
  • Resolves conflicts in a timely and professional manner

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills
  • Solution oriented minded
  • Collaborates with peers for team and Operational success
  • Computer literate with knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office, knowledge in SAP a plus
  • Able to perform with minimal direction
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and in varying departments in support of the operation

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years' experience in a warehouse/ manufacturing setting
  • Previous leadership experience, preferred
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand for long periods of time. Repetitive movement of the body is required on a regular basis. The position requires lifting of no less than 15-35 lbs. on a regular basis. Must be able to tolerate working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
