Job description

Summary/Objectives

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Embroidery Machine Operator to manage and operate an 8-head embroidery machine. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial embroidery production, along with Chroma and digitizing knowledge, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain consistent quality across multiple garments.

Essential Functions

  • Operate and monitor 8-head embroidery machines to produce high-quality embroidered products
  • Understanding Digitizing and Chroma software
  • Load, align, and secure garments or materials onto machine hoops
  • Set up machine designs, thread colors, and sequencing using embroidery software
  • Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, oiling, and troubleshooting minor issues
  • Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and consistency
  • Manage thread changes, bobbin replacements, and machine adjustments during production runs
  • Maintain production schedules and meet daily output targets
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
  • Report equipment malfunctions or production issues to supervisor
  • Bag and labels apparel properly for inventory or shipping to customer

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands

Able to lift at least 40 pounds.

Able to work in a warehouse environment for an extended amount of time

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Full time; 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 7AM-3:30PM Flex Schedule

Overtime may be required during peak production periods

Required Education and Experience

  • Previous experience operating multi-head embroidery machines (Ricoma preferred)
  • Knowledge of embroidery techniques, digitizing basics, and thread types
  • Ability to multitask and monitor multiple heads simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience with embroidery software Chroma
