Description
The Embossing Operator is responsible for operating card personalization systems within a high-volume direct mail environment. This role ensures high-quality embossed finishes on printed pieces, while meeting client specifications in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, production environment.
Shift Schedule: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm; Monday through Friday - Overtime as required
Due to the nature of our business, mandatory overtime is required during high-volume production periods and other times of increased workload. Flexibility to work extended shifts and/or weekends is an essential requirement of this position.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Operate Entrust embossing and personalization equipment to produce high-quality cards for mailing campaigns.
  • Load and manage card stocks, place completed cards into sleeves/cases while keeping proper order and orientation.
  • Change foil (as needed), read work orders, load jobs and complete paperwork.
  • Inspect finished products for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to client specifications.
  • Make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards.
  • Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of jobs.
  • Maintain a neat and clean working environment, ensuring the area is ready for the next shift.
  • Follow all company safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • High Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail are key
  • Ability to read and interpret job tickets and production specifications.
  • Basic computer and math skills required.
  • Effectively work with others in a team-oriented environment.
  • Dependable and able to work designated hours is a Must.
  • Strong multi-tasking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills required

Education and Experience:
  • High school education or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years if experience embossing or similar finishing equipment in a print or direct mail environment preferred.
