Job description


This position is with a Phoenix‑based advanced manufacturing company that specializes in high‑pressure forming, embossing, trimming, and tooling for thin‑film plastics and lightweight metal components. The company is known for using patented forming technologies to produce highly precise, functional, and decorative parts for demanding industries.

Job Summary
The Production role plays a hands‑on part in supporting plastic forming and injection molding operations. While exact duties may vary by shift and product line, the position focuses on mold setup, machine operation, troubleshooting, quality checks, and supporting safe and efficient production.

Job Duties
  • Set up, change, start up, and adjust injection molds and molding machines to meet job requirements and maintain cycle times
  • Troubleshoot production issues such as flash, short shots, warping, and dimensional defects
  • Perform basic preventive maintenance including cleaning, inspection, lubrication, and minor adjustments
  • Inspect parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to ensure quality standards are met
  • Follow safety procedures, maintain an organized work area, and support continuous improvement on the production floor
Pay
  • $17 per hour
Schedule
  • Monday – Friday
  • 3rd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Experience & Skill Requirements
  • Injection molding or plastic forming experience
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
  • Experience with mold changes and basic setup
  • Ability to read basic prints and process sheets
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
