Role : Embedded Systems/ OTA Test Engineer (C2C & W2 Position)

Location : Dearborn, MI (Hybrid)

Duration: 12+ Months

Experience: 6+ Years 

JD:

  • Validate Over-the-Air (OTA) software update mechanisms for embedded systems and connected devices.
  • Design and execute test cases for firmware and software updates, including upgrade, downgrade, rollback, and failure scenarios.
  • Perform end-to-end validation of OTA update pipelines including backend server, cloud, and device components.
  • Test security aspects of OTA updates such as authentication, encryption, and integrity verification. Conduct regression testing, integration testing, and system testing for OTA releases.
  • Simulate network conditions (low bandwidth, interrupted connectivity) to validate update reliability.
