Job description

The expected salary range for this position is $106,400.00 - $125,010.60. Employees in specific high cost of labor locations in the United States (such as San Francisco, CA and Seattle, WA) may qualify for a geographic differential. PLEASE NOTE: This position is a hybrid role with onsite work based at our Global Ministry Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Preference will be given to candidates local to the Greater Colorado Springs area.

Overview

This leader provides strategic direction, management, and oversight to the Digital Production team, ensuring creative concepts and assets are effectively translated into highquality digital media deliverables. They guide the team in building, testing, and deploying web, email, and print designs through optimized department workflows, thoughtful team capacity planning, and effective business processes. This role is accountable for the operational execution, project management discipline, and business operations that drive the performance and output of the Digital Production team.

The primary purpose of this position is to provide full, daily management and leadership for assigned professional staff. Responsibilities include hiring, onboarding, staff development, coaching, performance management, and when necessary, disciplinary actions and terminations. This leader sets clear expectations, assigns work, monitors progress, and approves deliverables to ensure alignment with department objectives and organizational standards.

In addition, this position is responsible for operational excellence within the team-establishing and maintaining KPIs, analyzing performance metrics, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and production velocity. The leader ensures team resources are aligned to strategic priorities, manages workload distribution, and drives accountability for results.

The incumbent ensures the successful execution of the department's responsibilities and strategic vision by providing clear direction, maintaining operational discipline, and driving consistent, datainformed decisionmaking. This includes working within established practices, organizational strategy, department guidelines, and approved budgets, while proactively identifying risks, resolving operational bottlenecks, and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.

  • Manages a team responsible for digital design and delivery of deliverables that are essential to customer centric journeys and campaigns for the supporter neighbor (customer). This includes contributing to a frictionless, seamless experience for the supporter.

  • Leads a team of professionals to partner with teams across marketing, fundraising, service, and other execution teams to facilitate scalable production models, workflows, and communication processes. Works within established infrastructure to increase operational efficiency by using analysis of the department data and best practices.

  • Utilizing a holistic understanding of the creative process, from concepting through production, ensures creative disciplines and needs are considered, aligns requests to the brand vision, maintain standards, and balances creation of the most professional, high-quality creative output while driving efficiency and speed to market.

  • Provides reporting related to timeliness, quantity and status of deliverables, team capacity and effectiveness, tiering, cycle times, team expense budgets and other relevant data. Analyzes capacity for the team to support workload planning for production resources.

  • Provides the team with opportunities for relevant research, problem solving, and ongoing training for digital production regulatory standards, best practices, and tools. Ensures optimal productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness in service to our supporters and internal customers.

  • Through leadership of a digital production team, manages effective project planning, adherence to timelines, and successful implementation of product and project deliverables.

What do you bring?
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 5-10+ years of experience in operations, business process management, project management, or a similar crossfunctional leadership role.

  • Experience in leading technical teams across multiple disciplines.

  • Proven success leading teams and managing operations across multiple departments or disciplines.

  • Experience working in matrixed organizations where influence and collaboration are essential.

  • Demonstrated success implementing process improvements, operational frameworks, or scalable systems.

  • Strong understanding of workflow optimization, resource planning, and capacity management.

  • Ability to develop, track, and analyze KPIs, dashboards, and operational performance metrics.

  • High emotional intelligence (EQ) with a leadership style that promotes trust, collaboration, and clarity.

  • Skilled at setting goals, defining expectations, and holding team members accountable.

  • Ability to balance strategic planning with daytoday execution.

  • Familiarity with digital production, marketing operations, or product operations (if relevant).
