Job description

Team: Growth Services - Partner Marketing

Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid) or Remote

Reports to: VP Marketing

Human Capital Education (HCE) enables colleges and universities to grow with purpose by providing the systems, expertise, data, and strategy needed to attract, enroll, and support students more effectively and efficiently. HCE works across undergraduate, graduate, online, and adult programs, helping institutions translate strategy into actionable insights that deliver sustainable results.

In January 2026, Human Capital Education acquired Kennedy & Company Education Strategies, bringing together complementary organizations with a shared commitment to helping institutions navigate change, strengthen performance, and achieve long-term sustainability. Together, HCE and Kennedy & Company now serve more than 300 colleges and universities nationwide, offering integrated strategic enablement services that span research, enrollment management, financial analysis, institutional strategy, and technology implementation.

About the Role:

We're looking for a Partner Marketing Specialist to join our Partner Marketing team - a generalist marketer who can move fluidly across channels, programs, and partner needs. This isn't a role for someone who wants to go deep on one lane; it's built for someone who wants breadth: a person equally comfortable reviewing a paid search campaign, giving feedback on ad creative, pulling together a performance update for a partner call, and helping think through why a program's funnel is underperforming.

You'll work directly with our university partners and with HCE's marketing functions (Performance Marketing, Content, Creative, Analytics) to keep marketing programs moving - translating partner goals into executable plans, and translating in-flight campaign performance back into clear, actionable guidance for partners and internal stakeholders alike.

This role reports to the VP of Partner Marketing and works alongside the marketing and enrollment teams supporting our portfolio of university partners.

What You'll Do:

Partner Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Support the development and execution of marketing plans for assigned university partners, spanning digital, content, and enrollment marketing
  • Translate partner goals and program priorities into campaign briefs, timelines, and channel plans
  • Apply established best practices in audience targeting, messaging, and channel selection based on data and prior program performance
  • Coordinate day-to-day execution of marketing initiatives from kickoff through launch, reporting, and program changes and optimization

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Serve as the connective tissue between partner needs and HCE's marketing functions: Digital/Paid Media, Content, Creative and Analytics
  • Contribute to campaign briefs, creative feedback, and messaging inputs in partnership with subject-matter specialists
  • Keep projects on track across multiple partners and workstreams simultaneously, flagging risks or delays early

Reporting & Insights

  • Pull together regular performance reporting (enrollment funnel metrics, CPL, campaign performance) for partner-facing and internal use
  • Support monthly/quarterly business reviews with partners, helping translate data into clear takeaways and next steps
  • Monitor campaign performance against goals and flag opportunities for optimization

Partner Relationship Support

  • Build strong working relationships with partner stakeholders through responsiveness and clear communication
  • Represent HCE's marketing point of view in partner conversations, with guidance and escalation support from senior Partner Marketing staff
  • Develop working knowledge of each assigned partner's brand, programs, and competitive landscape

What You'll Bring:

  • 3–5 years of marketing experience, ideally in higher education, online program management (OPM), or an agency/professional services environment serving higher ed clients
  • A generalist marketing background - meaningful exposure across two or more of the following: digital/paid media, content marketing, SEO, email/lifecycle marketing, creative development, or marketing analytics
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Experience supporting integrated marketing campaigns across both digital and traditional channels
  • Strong project management instincts - comfortable managing multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholders at once
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting performance updates to non-marketing stakeholders
  • Working familiarity with marketing and enrollment tools such as Slate, Salesforce, HubSpot, or GA4 (or a demonstrated ability to get up to speed on new platforms quickly)
  • A curious, data-informed approach to problem-solving - comfortable using research and performance data to inform recommendations, even without deep specialization in analytics

Nice to Have

  • Direct experience with OPM industry dynamics - enrollment funnels, CPL/CPS, discount rate, or academic program marketing
  • Exposure to paid search, paid social, or programmatic campaign management
  • Experience in a client-facing or account-based marketing role

Key Benefits:

  • Opportunity to participate in building something important
  • Casual work environment in Cherry Creek
  • Experienced management team that enjoys the work – and loves education
  • Competitive salary
  • Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance
  • 401K plan
  • Unlimited PTO policyWellness Program
  • Flexible work model
  • Community giving/volunteer program

Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000

HCE is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
