Job description


The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing digital channel programs, increasing brand awareness, developing robust audiences through promoting company products, services or events, and driving prospects to conversions through appropriate technology platforms. Part of a cross-functional Content, Media and Digital Marketing team, this role coordinates and publishes content to multiple digital channels such as the corporate website, email campaigns, press releases, blog posts, paid display/search advertising, and interactive media to drive effective customer-facing experiences and elevate the ABS brand. The Digital Marketing Specialist must have a proven track record working with various digital marketing channels, as well as a depth of hands-on experience using digital tools to easily deliver digital tactics without any technical assistance.
What You Will Do:
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to stage communications that utilize content management, email automation, and marketing platforms.
  • Assist with the strategy, execution, and continuous optimization of Google Ads and paid search initiatives to drive traffic and maximize visibility across digital channels.
  • Monitors and evaluates trends, data, usage, competitors and market/business conditions; recommends and executes on approaches to improve effectiveness of ABS digital marketing strategies
  • Executes email campaigns, event registration forms, and event landing pages, working closely with Strategic Marketing Managers.
  • Creates and maintains email marketing list and segments to ensure database health and targeted communication
  • Innovates with new digital marketing tools and tactics to offer new and compelling content or media or digital channels.
  • Supports consistency of message across multiple channels.
  • Adheres to digital privacy compliance regulations on projects.
  • Collaborates with the Digital Marketing Manager, business units and other staff functions to advance ABS marketing automation practices and programs.
  • Build positive relationships across organizations that foster a strong work environment.

What You Will Need:
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Advertising, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience related to communications or public relations.

It Would Be Nice If You Had:
  • Google AdWords certification or Google Analytics certification preferred
  • Video editing experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Digital Marketing experience with an organization with global operations.
  • Hands-on experience using marketing automation software, content management systems, event registration platforms, and Google and/or LinkedIn management tools.
  • A sound working knowledge of elements within MS Office is required. Expertise creating excel reports and PowerPoint presentations to communicate metrics and ROI.
  • Experience with segmentation, list management, Google Ads and/or LinkedIn Ads, and campaign execution
  • Strong interpersonal and team skills.
  • Ability to develop a working knowledge of ABS Rules, Guides, statutory regulations, and related instructions, as well as the ABS Employee Safety Policy.
