Compensation offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education and, where applicable, licenses or certifications obtained. Position Title: Growth Marketing Manager

Reports To: Director of Marketing

Department: Marketing

FLSA Status: Exempt

Purpose: Under the guidance of the Director of Marketing, the Growth Marketing Manager will develop and implement product strategic marketing plans to support existing and planned business activities for various lines of business for the bank and affiliates to achieve their annual goals. This position will help support the growth of Five Star Bank products and services across the Corporate footprint regardless of channel.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

  1. Work collaboratively with internal partners (lines of business heads, product managers, compliance, etc.) to roll out integrated product or service marketing campaigns – including providing direction on the development of digital and traditional tactics and all promotional materials with in-house Creative & Production Specialist or contracted Agency. As well as ensure all tracking (online and traditional) is put into place so campaigns can be measured.
  2. Plan and coordinate media initiatives with in-house Creative & Product Specialist or contracted Agency to support product or service marketing campaigns they are leading.
  3. Assist in post analysis of product or service marketing campaigns, documenting lessons learned and ROMI.
  4. Plan, manage, and write content for email marketing programs within Salesforce Marketing Cloud for the bank and affiliates products and services. Collaborate with in-house Creative & Product Specialist or contracted Agency for creative assets development. As well as set and track KPIs for each email marketing program.
  5. Manage website updates through content management system and continually ensure that the website complies with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. Maintain locations for branches/ATMs within the branch locator system, as well as manage forms access / notifications within third party portal.
  6. Collaborate with internal team (respective Product Manager or Line of Business head) and contracted Agency/third party vendor to create landing pages and optimize user experience for product and service marketing campaigns.
  7. Collaborate with contracted Agency on Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Evaluate proposed recommendations, prioritize and oversee implementation to improve website’s organic search performance.
  8. Primary marketing lead for third-party platform communications.
  9. Keep the Company current on the latest traditional and digital marketing trends and evaluate emerging technologies.
  10. Demonstrate the standards and principles of the Five Star Bank experience in every interaction with internal and external customers, associates, and stakeholders. Incorporate the high-performance behaviors of teamwork, leading by example, and service in every facet of work.

Job Related Qualifications – Education and Prior Experience:

Required:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Prior Experience: 5+ years in Marketing experience, including digital marketing, working with content management systems and website administration
  • Licenses or Accreditation: N/A

  • Prior Experience: 10+ years of Marketing experience, including digital marketing, working with content management systems and website administration

  • Prior Experience: 10+ years of Marketing experience, including digital marketing, working with content management systems and website administration in a Financial industries environment

Competencies:

  1. Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  2. Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines
  3. High attention to detail and the ability to work on a number of campaigns simultaneously
  4. Analytical ability to interpret data and present it in a meaningful and easily understood form
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office with ability to learn and utilize new and existing banking software applications
  6. Working knowledge of Photoshop, In-design and other media editing software
  7. Familiarity with web design and website administration, as well as a solid understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods
  8. Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (i.e. Google Analytics)
  9. Working knowledge of marketing automation platforms such as Sales Force Marketing Cloud or Mailchimp
  10. Ability to gain extensive knowledge of Bank products and services
  11. Ability to work with all levels of staff and share ideas to achieve companywide results

Physical Requirements:

  1. Able to regularly sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
  2. Extensive computer usage is required.
  3. Ability to be flexible with work schedule and to be available to respond to social media issues that arise outside of regular business hours.
