As an experienced email developer, you will understand business needs across the Wolverine Worldwide portfolio of brands and deliver polished marketing email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You will be responsible for running and executing email marketing campaigns with a focus on best-practice email development, audience segmentation, implementation of custom solutions, A/B testing, automation workflows, and performance monitoring. You are an engaged self-starter who actively seeks opportunities to optimize solutions, business metrics, and the customer experience.

Primary Duties:

  • Execute and optimize marketing to drive a seamless consumer experience through email message HTML coding, proofing, targeting, and advanced scheduling.

  • Deliver email content that is optimized for all viewing experiences across clients, devices, and viewing modes.

  • Develop and advise retention team and brand partners on advanced coding solutions and opportunities within the SFMC tool suite.

  • Remain current on Salesforce updates and industry trends. Adapt existing programs and strategies accordingly and surface new opportunities.

  • Review incoming project briefs, develop solutions, communicate with stakeholders, manage workflow, and track any parallel development or dependencies.

  • Partner with brand teams and CRM for alignment of short and long term strategies.

  • Analyze and compile key learnings from email programs in order to optimize performance.

  • Be able to pivot quickly to accommodate the adaptive priorities in a retail environment.

  • Enjoy learning and facing technical challenges. Actively pursue personal growth.

  • Work closely with the content team to ensure brand aligned and effective email campaigns.

  • Perform duties consistent with the Company's AAP/EEO goals and policies.

  • Perform other duties as required/assigned by manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • 1+ years of email marketing experience with understanding of audience segmentation, lifecycle marketing, email development best practices, and deliverability.

  • Technical fluency with HTML and CSS for email templates

  • Salesforce, SQL, and AMPscript experience preferred.

  • Excellent analytical skills critical. Able to analyze data, understand the story behind the numbers, and be able to formulate and communicate recommendations to business partners.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong technical knowledge relevant to typical ecommerce environment

Working Conditions:

Normal office environment.
