Job description

About The Company

Turning marketing into a market-domination weapon, iSpeedToLead created a new category โ€” the marketplace for future customers. Businesses shop for leads as they shop for products in e-commerce: they can see key details before buying, with more transparency, control, and predictable outcomes. iSpeedToLead helps real estate wholesalers, investors, flippers, and increasingly agents buy motivated home-seller leads through a live lead marketplace built for speed, visibility, and performance.

Why this role exists

At iSpeedToLead, email is one of the most important communication and growth channels, used to connect with buyers and partners across the U.S. real estate market. As the company scales, two needs have become clear: deliverability requires stronger ownership, and the business still lacks a fully built system of trigger-based email automation. This role exists to improve inbox placement, reduce deliverability issues, and build smarter automated email flows that engage users at the right moment, turning email into a reliable growth and retention engine.

Role Overview

Weโ€™re looking for a hands-on Email Automation & Deliverability Specialist who can combine marketing logic, automation, analytics, and technical email knowledge. You will own the performance and reliability of email as a channel: improving deliverability, building lifecycle automation, segmenting users intelligently, and using data to continuously improve results. This role is for someone who can move comfortably between strategy and execution โ€” from domain health and sender reputation to flow logic, copy structure, and campaign optimization.

What Youโ€™ll Be Doing:
  • Build and optimize trigger-based email flows for different user segments.
  • Create automated lifecycle campaigns, including onboarding, reactivation, retention, follow-ups, nurture flows, and transactional communication.
  • Identify key user actions and turn them into relevant automated email journeys.
  • Improve email deliverability across domains, senders, and campaigns.
  • Monitor inbox placement, bounce rates, spam complaints, open rates, CTR, conversions, unsubscribes, and broader engagement metrics.
  • Troubleshoot deliverability issues such as declining sender reputation, blacklist risks, spam-folder placement, bounce anomalies, and low engagement.
  • Segment users based on behavior, lifecycle stage, engagement level, and business value.
  • Create email content, including structure, copy, basic layout, and logic inside email builders.
  • Run A/B tests on subject lines, timing, copy, CTA, layout, and automation logic.
  • Analyze performance and continuously improve email flows based on data.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in email marketing, email automation, lifecycle marketing, or email deliverability.
  • Hands-on experience building automated and trigger-based email campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of email deliverability fundamentals including sender reputation, bounce rate, spam complaints, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, domain health, and blacklist monitoring.
  • Experience working with ESPs or email automation platforms such as SendPulse, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot, Customer.io, ActiveCampaign, or similar tools.
  • Ability to analyze email performance metrics and turn insights into practical improvements.
  • Understanding of segmentation, retention, reactivation, lifecycle marketing, and behavioral automation.
  • Strong attention to detail and an ownership mindset.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-moving startup environment.
  • English level B2/C1 or higher.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience in SaaS, B2B, marketplace, real estate, or startup environments.
  • Experience working with large contact databases and multi-segment email communication.
  • Experience with chatbot flows, SMS, or messenger automation.
  • Technical experience with email infrastructure, domain setup, warm-up strategy, or deliverability tools.
  • Experience improving deliverability after performance decline or sender-reputation issues.
This is not for you if
  • You focus only on campaign sending and do not want to own deliverability health.
  • You are comfortable building newsletters, but not trigger-based automation systems tied to user behavior.
  • You avoid technical email topics such as SPF, DKIM, DMARC, blacklist monitoring, or sender reputation.
  • You prefer static reporting over testing, iteration, and continuous optimization.
  • You need highly structured processes and close day-to-day direction to move work forward.
