Job description

Outpatient Neurologist wanted to join our collaborative practice, located at our state-of-the-art facility, three miles from our main hospital campus. Supportive staff, see an average of 12-14 patients per day, more if desired.

Our general neurology team consists of six physicians who treat a range of diagnoses including: epilepsy/seizure disorders, stroke, headaches/migraines, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's/movement disorders, dementia/Alzheimer disease, and neuromuscular disorders. Subspecialty interest are welcomed and supported. Training in EEG/EMG also a plus. Some of the advantages of our outpatient practice include:

No inpatient call/coverage required

  • Four clinic days per week and one administrative day per week

  • Outpatient/clinic call coverage would be 1 every 7 weeks

  • Neuro hospitalist coverage of inpatient service, with opportunity to "moonlight" on inpatient service, if desired

  • Inpatient service has 24/7 tele-stroke coverage - acute strokes covered by Tele Neurology

  • Strong referral base

  • Hospital affiliated infusion center

  • Ability to perform/interpret EMG/EEG studies welcomed, though not required - other physicians in the group can provide these services
