Elite Dance Academy

Broomfield, CO โ€ข On-site

Part-time

Re-posted 3 days ago

Job description

Elite Dance Academy | Broomfield, CO

Elite Dance Academy is looking for a very special kind of dance teacher — a true early childhood specialist who lights up when teaching our youngest dancers and understands that preschool and PreK dance is both an art and a science.

This role is for the “baby whisperers.”
The teachers who instinctively know how to connect with little humans, guide them with warmth and structure, and create magical, developmentally appropriate dance experiences that build confidence, joy, and a lifelong love of movement.

We are seeking experienced, high-caliber educators who are deeply passionate about early childhood dance and who see this age group not as a stepping stone — but as a meaningful place to shine.

This position also offers future growth opportunities, including the potential to step into a Preschool Dance Program Leader role as our program continues to expand.

What This Role Is Really About

  • Teaching preschool and PreK dancers in a way that is joyful, engaging, structured, and developmentally appropriate
  • Creating ENTERTAINING AND ENGAGING CLASSROOMS where young dancers feel safe, seen, and successful
  • Building strong foundations in movement, rhythm, coordination, listening skills, and classroom behavior
  • Supporting human development just as much as dance technique
  • Partnering with families and leadership to create a WOW experience from the very first class

Who We’re Looking For

  • A teacher who genuinely loves early childhood and thrives in preschool environments
  • Someone who understands that teaching ages 2–5 requires patience, creativity, intention, and expertise
  • An educator who brings joy, warmth, and energy — while also maintaining clear structure and boundaries
  • A professional who takes pride in preparation, organization, and reliability
  • A team player who values communication, collaboration, and growth

Experience & Qualifications

  • Previous experience teaching preschool and/or early childhood dance classes
  • Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate movement for young children
  • Up-to-date knowledge of early childhood teaching practices and dance fundamentals
  • Ability to lead a classroom independently with confidence and care
  • Strong communication skills and a dependable work ethic
  • Dance background preferred (ballet, jazz, creative movement, or early childhood dance training)

Schedule & Position Details

  • 5-10 Hours/Week available. Classes may take place on weekday mornings, afternoons, evenings, and/or Saturday mornings
  • Positions available with onboarding and training provided
  • Opportunities to substitute or teach additional classes at our main studio location
  • Competitive pay based on experience
  • Growth pathway available for teachers interested in leadership and program development
