A ninja is traditionally a covert agent or mercenary in feudal Japan, but in modern contexts, the term is often used metaphorically to describe skilled professionals in fields like cybersecurity or gaming. In these cases, being a 'ninja' refers to having specialized skills, such as hacking or strategic expertise, rather than an official job title. Actual employment as a ninja in historical or traditional sense is not common today.
