Visit: https://www.fujifilm.com/us/en/about/region/careersJob DescriptionMAJOR ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform general to intermediate facility repairs not to exclude: paint, drywall, walls, floors, surfaces, windows, caulking, weatherproofing, shelving, roofs, locks and keys, doors, and hardware.Support Facilities Engineering with design/installation/fabrication/demolition of new or remodeled plant/facility/laboratory and administrative work areas.Ability to work with general hand and power tools associated with building trades.Operate heavy equipment to include: forklifts, backhoes, box trucks, etc.Able to read and understand general floor plans, diagrams, and blueprints.Perform basic facility preventative maintenance as needed.Provide support to Facilities Department to maintain critical schedules for equipment/plant/utility availability.Use equipment manuals and drawings to troubleshoot problems.Locate spare parts as necessary. Recommend upgrades of replacements to existing materials, hardware, components, adhesives, compounds, paints, etc.Escort vendors/contractors providing facility service calls (fire extinguishers, pest control, elevators, etc.).Document all work on work orders.Be familiar with the location and basic function of the facility.Be able to support the plant operations during off-hours if needed.Adhere to plant gowning requirements and equipment transfer procedures during routine cosmetic/general maintenance repairs maintaining a clean process environment as required.Support cGMP standards as required.Support facility property movement and equipment relocation.Adhere to all safety requirements and follow safe procedures, immediately notifying management or Safety when unsafe conditions or potential hazards are found; attend all required safety and health training, including handling hazardous waste, when necessary.Required Skills/Education:HS and 5+ years of industrial/mechanical experience or equivalentPhysical Demands:The position requires essential physical abilities, including but not limited to climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, as well as repetitive motions. The individual in this role may be required to perform work categorized as either "heavy work" or "very heavy work."
