An Elevator Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating the movement of elevators in a building or facility to ensure efficient transportation of passengers and goods. They monitor elevator usage, respond to service requests, and communicate with maintenance teams to address malfunctions. This role is common in large buildings, hotels, hospitals, and high-traffic areas where elevator scheduling is necessary to prevent congestion. Elevator Dispatchers may use computerized systems or manual controls to direct elevator operations efficiently.
