• Perform thorough assessments and evaluations of clients, including diagnostic assessments, to accurately assess their mental health needs.
• Provide individualized one-on-one counseling sessions, utilizing diverse therapeutic techniques to assist clients in managing anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction.
• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions, focusing on topics such as support networks, coping skills, and psychoeducation for clients dealing with common mental health challenges.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that establish clear objectives and therapeutic interventions suited to each client's unique profile.
• Address crisis situations by providing immediate support and conducting risk assessments, ensuring timely coordination of emergency interventions when required.
• Commit to ongoing education and training, staying up-to-date on the latest developments in mental health treatment and best practices through workshops and professional development resources.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for our clients.

This role primarily involves working with adults experiencing a wide spectrum of mental health issues. Our clients may include individuals recovering from trauma, battling anxiety and depression, and those seeking support for substance use disorders. • A master’s or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, or a related mental health field from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a valid and active LMHC license in New York State.

• Proven ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and create effective treatment plans tailored to client needs.
