Top Required Skills:

Must-Have Skills:
- Ability to monitor machines to maintain optimal efficiency and minimize downtime
- Ability to pack, inspect, and remove defective products to ensure quality standards
- Ability to keep product flow moving efficiently
- Ability to lift, carry, and follow ergonomic guidelines
- Ability to communicate machine adjustment needs to operators or supervisors
- Ability to follow safety rules, PPE requirements, and plant policies
- Ability to perform sanitation and preventive maintenance tasks
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience operating corrugator, stacker, loader, or packing equipment
- Familiarity with conveyor systems, load formers, shrink tunnels, and accumulators
- Knowledge of SQF, HACCP, GMP, food safety, and sanitation practices
- Experience working in a manufacturing or corrugated packaging environment
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare machines and workstations for daily operation, ensuring proper PPE and cleanliness
- Monitor stacker and loading equipment to maintain efficiency and reduce waste
- Inspect, pack, and ensure finished products meet quality standards
- Communicate machine issues or adjustment needs to operators or supervisors
- Perform sanitation, preventive maintenance, and rework tasks as required
- Clean machines and work areas at the end of each shift
Requirements:
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift and carry materials while following ergonomic guidelines
- Ability to work as part of a team and assist coworkers when needed
- Ability to follow Smurfit Westrock safety, SQF, HACCP, GMP, and sanitation programs
- Ability to report equipment issues and follow operational procedures
