Accounting Intern
Job Description:
Arrow Electronics is looking for an enthusiastic and detail oriented individual for our Accounting Intern position!
The intern position within the Internal Reporting team will work closely with accounting and finance teams around the world to review, analyze and consolidate Arrow's world-wide financial results. Using the consolidated information, you will help in the preparation of financial reports for executive management and various other teams within Arrow. In this position, you will also be introduced to intercompany transactions and the proper accounting treatment. You will be partnering with other team members to ensure accurate and meaningful reporting in an evolving and fast-paced business environment.
What You Will Be Doing:
  • Analyze monthly financial results from businesses around the world
  • Prepare financial reports for leadership including ad-hoc requests
  • Reconcile key balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Assess journal entries for compliance with US GAAP
  • Review international statutory financial statements

What We Are Looking For:
  • Pursuing bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • 3.0 GPA or Higher
  • Analytical skills, detail-oriented and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to adapt to ever-changing environment
  • Ability to work 20 - 40 hours per week

Work Arrangement:
Hybrid: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday required office days for Panorama Office site; Monday, Friday-work from home.
