File Clerk
Based in Los Angeles, BD&J is California’s leading personal injury law firm. With over $3 billion recovered for our clients, we are built on trust, dedication, and exceptional results. We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented File Clerk to join our administrative team.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience in a professional office environment. The File Clerk will play a key role in helping maintain organization and ensure the secure handling of sensitive legal documents.


Responsibilities include:
• Organize and maintain physical and electronic case files
• Sort, label, scan, and file incoming mail and legal documents
• Retrieve and deliver files for attorneys, paralegals, and staff as needed
• Ensure all documents are accurately filed in the appropriate locations
• Assist with file audits and records management projects
• Maintain confidentiality and handle all records in a HIPAA-compliant manner
• Perform general clerical duties as assigned


Skills & Requirements:
• Previous office or clerical experience preferred (law firm experience a plus)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and follow directions
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with scanning/file management software
• Punctual, dependable, and able to work both independently and with a team
