Job Description: Our client, a well-established Electrical Construction Company that has served a wide range of industrial, commercial, and municipal customers across the Southeast, providing best-in-class Electrical D/B, BIM, Prefabrication, Instrumentation & Controls, and Calibration Services is now seeking a highly motivated Electrical Construction Superintendent with experience in the pharmaceutical industryMajor Duties and ResponsibilitiesBe our primary contact with the client, building and maintaining client relationshipsEnsure all safety measures and regulations are followed, as accident prevention and worker safety are high prioritiesMonitor work progress and coordinate with the site coordinators or general superintendents to deliver progress reportsOversee installation of electrical systems in a new project or inspect and repair electrical systems in an existing building.Work to make sure contractors’ terms are fulfilled and disputes are resolved.Supervise workers, foremen to ensure their work follows specifications, contract documents, plans and is on scheduleHandle correspondence and forms such as daily reports, timesheets, accident reports, etc.Assist with cost estimating and monitor project activities for strict compliance with plans and specifications.Minimize change orders through efficient planning and coordination.Consult manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering personal in order for complete installations.Assist with timely close-out and punch list completionKey Performance CriteriaHigh School Diploma or Trade School Certificate in Electrical Wiring or comparable experience requiredMinimum of four (4) years of experience as a foreman in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures using blueprints, schematics and sketches and OSHA 30 certified3-5 years supervisory experienceExperience managing materials and personnel requirements necessary to meet scheduleExcellence in communications; both written and oralLeadership skills • Ability to influence internal and external stakeholdersProven relationship building and relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholdersStrong analytical skills to assist with decision makingTrack record of successfully managing and motivating teamsBenefits80 hours of PTO (pro-rated the 1st calendar year base on hire date)8 paid holidays, benefits eligibility the 1st of the month after 60 days of servicecompany truckcell phone, iPad, and gas card.Candidates must be able to travel and work at any of our job sites, including Elkton, VA, if needed.This description is intended to be generic in nature.
