Job description

Hi-Vac Corporation is seeking candidates for the position of Control Panel Assembler for day shift. The Control Panel Assembler performs installation of control panel components that will be used to operate truck mounted equipment all within a factory environment.


Specific responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Unbox and identify the mechanical and electrical components required for the assembly as per the layout drawings, schematics and parts lists.
  • Possess the ability to read schematics and layout the control panel.
  • Drill, tap holes, and mount components as required in enclosures and control panels.
  • Accurately assemble and point to point wire electrical control panels while maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Work cooperatively and communicate effectively with peers and management.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Skills & Experience:

  • High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED and
  • Post-Secondary education from a technical trade school or college
  • Related experience and/or training in electrical wiring or similar experience.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
