As the Electrical Engineering Manager for our CT Fleet, you will lead a team of highly skilled engineers and technicians who support our combustion turbine fleet's performance, compliance, and long-term reliability.
This role is ideal for an engineering leader who thrives at the intersection of technical depth, operational execution, and people leadership.
What You'll Do
Operational Engineering Leadership
  • Provide daily direction to the CT electrical engineering team supporting plant operations and maintenance.
  • Ensure consistent site coverage and occasionally step into on-site engineering support when needed.

Fleet Reliability & Technical Excellence
  • Drive the development of engineering solutions-problem definition, alternatives evaluation, scoping, estimating, and business case development.
  • Lead predictive and preventive electrical maintenance activities, testing, overhauls, and major equipment support.

Compliance & Standards
  • Own engineering aspects of NERC Reliability Standards compliance, including technical evaluations, evidence development, procedure updates, and TO/TOP coordination.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation
  • Build a work environment that encourages innovation, skills development, and process improvement.
  • Review and refine fleetwide maintenance practices, processes, and electrical engineering procedures.

Project & Technical Advisory Support
  • Support capital project execution through review of drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Conduct special studies, prepare analyses, and develop presentations, white papers, and briefing materials for leadership.

What You Bring
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (BSEE preferred).
10+ years engineering experience in a commercial power generation environment.
5+ years leadership experience supervising engineering staff.
Extensive background in preventive/predictive maintenance, plant performance, and reliability engineering.
PE license preferred.
Skills & Knowledge
Strong analytical and business acumen.
Ability to lead and develop technical teams with autonomy and accountability.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High proficiency with engineering tools, analysis software, and PC applications.
Comfortable partnering with Plant Management and senior operations stakeholders.
