Job Description

United Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist with maintaining an industrial laundry facility. Responsibilities include assisting with repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment, systems and components including, but not limited to, washers, dryers, tunnel washers (CBW), and boilers; assisting with performing preventive/predictive maintenance; resolving safety concerns; performing indoor and outdoor housekeeping; monitoring inventory supplies and maintaining maintenance records. We offer training. Wages are based on experience.

Skills/Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum 2 years' experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military
  • Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
  • Be familiar with the safe use of all tools (hand and power)
  • Must be able to troubleshoot digital and analogue control systems.
  • Must be familiar with the use and application of P.L.C. controllers
  • Must have a rounded knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and steam systems.
  • Experience with and ability to read a machine schematics
  • Basic Microsoft Office computer skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Effectively handle lifting of various objects weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • High School Diploma/GED

Preferred

  • Prior experience in laundry facility is great but not necessary
  • Boiler knowledge
